BQB LLP is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses strong research and analytical skills, and can work independently while collaborating effectively with clients and colleagues. This is a great opportunity for an attorney seeking to develop litigation and trial experience while handling a diverse range of insurance defense and civil litigation matters.
Duties include representing clients in court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings; drafting legal documents and motions; conducting legal research; managing discovery and investigations; advising clients and claims personnel; and evaluating liability, damages, and potential exposure for settlement, arbitration, and trial.
Requirements
- JD from an ABA-accredited law school
- Licensed to practice and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Must have an enthusiastic positive approach and be a team player
- Must have compassion and understanding for the clients they are working with
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills, and a strong work ethic
