Company History
Franklin Insurance was originally founded in 1920 by Alvin B Jordan. In 1928 Alvins son-in-law, Harry E Beiry, took over the agency and changed the name to Beiry insurance. Beiry Insurance was purchased in 1981 by MCV Insurance of Titusville. In 1989 the office was purchased by D Charles Graham and David F. Ballard and the name was changed to Franklin Insurance Agency Inc. In 1991 Franklin Insurance purchased Dolson and Beith Insurance which was another long time Franklin Agency. Later that year Franklin Insurance moved into its new building at 104 13th Street in Franklin. In the ensuing years Franklin Insurance purchased the Seneca office of Bush Insurance in 1993, Fink Insurance in 1996 and Prather Insurance of Franklin and MCV Insurance of Titusville in 1997. All purchases with the exception of MCV Insurance of Titusville were moved in house. MCV Insurance of Titusville's name was changed to Titusville Insurance and is currently a satellite office located in the city of Titusville. In 2006 D. Charles Graham sold his shares to David Ballard
