Management Accountant - $110-120K+Super - Sydney CBD - Global Banking Your new company
Join a leading international banking institution in their Sydney office. This role sits within the Management Accounting function and offers strong exposure across budgeting, performance analysis and strategic financial insights. The position is offered as a two-year maximum contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role following further review.

Your new role

• Support the development and execution of annual budgets at the organisation, business line, and business unit levels
• Assist in reviewing and monitoring budget performance, providing analysis to support informed decision-making
• Prepare financial performance analysis across multiple levels of the organisation, including product-level insights for business units
• Contribute to data analysis related to pricing, asset and liability management, and provide meaningful insights to management
• Assist in coordinating and executing financial KPI performance reviews across the organisation and business units
• Monitor KPI progress and prepare supporting analysis and reporting

What you'll need to succeed

• 1-2 years' experience specifically within the banking sector, corporate banking or a similar financial services environment
• 3+ years of local professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics or a related discipline
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and projects
• Clear and concise communication skills, with the ability to present viewpoints effectively
• Strong analytical skills to understand stakeholder needs
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis tools
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Mandarin
• Only candidates with Australian Permanent Residency or Australian/New Zealand Citizenship will be considered.
